We all want healthy children. But what can we do to help them stay healthy?
The average child gets sick 10 times a year. This
number is too high and there is no reason why it should be so high. Once or
twice a year colds or other viruses are understandable, but 10 times a year?

Think of all the missed school for them and lose
your job for you and fun family moments that need to be postponed or canceled
altogether. There are simple things we can do as parents to make sick children
to healthy children.

The first step to having a healthy baby is a
healthy diet. Children need plenty of good nutrition. Foods that are full of
sugar, fat, starch and are highly processed are not nutritious.

Good nutrition begins at home. There are many
small, simple changes you can make immediately for the whole family to eat
healthy. Fresh fruit,

vegetables, lean protein and whole grains should
be provided every day. It may seem easier and cheaper to buy frozen processed
and packaged versions, but not really. You will find that purchasing health is
actually cheaper than buying junk. Check out some healthy recipes,

think healthy. Stay away from the chips, soda and candy. Instead, buy whole
grain crackers, crackers and fresh fruit. We all want sweet and savory dishes,

The next step to a healthy baby is to focus on
the environment around our children. Harmful risks can be found throughout the
house. The first thing to do is go to clean out your closets. All cleaning
products are not safe to go. Many cleaning products contain harmful chemicals.
If your children have asthma or allergies are especially susceptible to the
irritating effects of the upper respiratory tract of toxic chemicals. I only
use products that are safe and non toxic cleaning my house and I would not want
it any other way. No need to buy "all natural" expensive products,
but buying a trusted brand. There are many more insurance products available,
but not all are created equal. Look for products that are super-concentrated,
which will give you the best return for money and protect the environment.

Finally, healthy children need adequate
exercise. If you are at home with you, get off the couch and moves with you.
There are many videos of easy, kid-friendly choices available, or you can make
your own exercise routine. My kids and I love playing tag, walk and go to the
park. If the weather is bad, move the business in.

Jumping jacks, jump rope, yoga for children, and
other fun things to do inside the house activities. Or you can sign up for
karate, gymnastics, dance,

or after school sports. Be creative! The
possibilities are endless. Whatever activity you choose, as long as children
are active and play. The key to getting children to exercise is to make it fun.

Turn routine and not be too aggressive with
exercise at home. The best way to get your kids active is to lead by example.
If they see you making an effort to stay in shape, you are likely to join in.
